Rule: The bike is part of ordinary traffic: lights, signals, lanes, turns and parking follow rules that also apply to students.

Tongue
Rule: Many university services operate in English, but contracts, public letters and employment may be in Danish; the legal version prevails.

Digital Post and security
Rule: Authentic messages can impose terms, but phishing and fake MitID SMS imitate authorities, banking and deliveries.

Climate and home
Rule: Wind, rain, winter darkness and humidity influence journeys, consumption and quality of accommodation.

Emergencies and useful numbers
Rule: 112 manages emergencies; non-emergency police, emergency medical services and municipal services have separate numbers.

Departure or change of city
Rule: The transfer changes municipality, doctor, transportation, contract and sometimes jurisdiction of disputes.

Documentary protocol
Create three files: stay and CPR; home and insurance; work, SU and taxes. Save the version of the page consulted, the submitted package, receipt and complete response. If you change course, job, address or coverage, review all related paperwork before the change.

Exchange rules, international permits, and minimum ages differ widely. Confirm with the national or state motoring authority in Denmark before driving; rental desks usually require licence plus passport or national ID.
